At Smartphone Superstore, we deliver fast, securely, and transparently. Every device is professionally prepared, tracked and protected from dispatch to delivery.
1. Delivery Overview
We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders placed before 3:00pm (Monday–Friday) on the same working day.
All UK mainland orders are shipped via DPD Next Day Delivery.
Orders placed after 3:00pm, on weekends or on UK bank holidays will be processed the next working day.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. However, we work closely with DPD to maintain next working day performance wherever possible.
If no delivery timeframe is specifically agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days in accordance with UK consumer legislation.
2. Delivery Options & Charges
UK Mainland – DPD Next Day (FREE)
• Next working day delivery (where available)
• Fully tracked service
• 1-hour delivery window notification
• Photo proof of delivery
• Signature or secure delivery confirmation
Delivery is FREE on all UK mainland orders.
Same Day Delivery (Selected Areas)
Same day delivery may be available in selected postcode areas at an additional cost.

• Order cut-off time applies
• Subject to stock availability and courier capacity
• Additional charges will be shown at checkout
If your postcode qualifies, this option will automatically appear during checkout.
3. Order Processing & Security
All devices are:
• Fully tested and certified
• IMEI and serial number recorded prior to dispatch
• Securely packaged and professionally sealed
For high-value orders, we may carry out additional security verification before dispatch. This may include payment checks or identity confirmation.
We reserve the right to delay shipment pending security verification if required.
4. Risk & Ownership
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
• Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address provided at checkout.
• Ownership of goods remains with Smartphone Superstore until full payment has been received and cleared.
5. Missed Deliveries
If no one is available to accept delivery:
• DPD may attempt redelivery
• Delivery may be made to a nominated safe place or neighbour (if authorised)
• The parcel may be held at a local depot for collection
Failure to rearrange delivery may result in the order being returned to us. Return-to-sender or redelivery charges may apply.
6. Incorrect Address Details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
We cannot accept liability for delays, losses or misdeliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details entered at checkout.
If an order is returned due to an address error, additional shipping charges may apply before reshipment.
7. Remote & Non-Mainland UK
Delivery times may vary for:
• Scottish Highlands
• Northern Ireland
• Isle of Man
• Channel Islands
Additional delivery charges may apply in certain areas and will be displayed at checkout where applicable.
8. Lost, Stolen or Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged:
• Notify us within 24 hours of delivery
• Provide clear photographic evidence of the outer packaging and contents
If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your order:
• Contact us within 48 hours
• We will open a formal courier investigation immediately
Courier investigations typically take 5–10 working days. A replacement or refund will be issued once loss has been formally confirmed by the courier.
Device Security & Blacklisting
All devices sold by Smartphone Superstore are recorded by IMEI and serial number prior to dispatch.
If a device is reported as lost, stolen, or undelivered following confirmed delivery, we reserve the right to immediately block and blacklist the device via the relevant UK network operators and industry databases.
This prevents the device from being used on UK mobile networks and protects against fraud.
Where fraudulent claims are suspected, we reserve the right to share device identification details with:
• Courier partners
• Payment providers
• Network operators
• Fraud prevention agencies
• Relevant authorities
9. Refused Deliveries
If a delivery is refused without prior agreement:
• Return shipping costs may be deducted from any refund
• Additional administration charges may apply
10. Pre-Orders & Backorders
If an item is listed as pre-order or backorder:
• Estimated dispatch times will be clearly displayed on the product page
• Delays outside our control (supplier or logistics related) may occur
Customers will be notified of any significant change to expected dispatch timing.
11. International Shipping
International delivery options and charges will be displayed at checkout where available.
Customs duties, import taxes and local charges are the responsibility of the customer.
